In Sveva Bellucci’s photos antithetical aspects overlap: the subject of her photos, where the evocation of the self is revealed through its absence, while at the same time you can perceive the contrast between the stasis of the subject, which passively came under the movement of those who slept there, and the stillness of sleep. Stillness is opposed to the action of getting up and walk away. While observing, you assist to a sudden critical and creative process: a personal reworking to identify the traces left by the individual, in your imagination you will feel the presence of humans through the shape of the bed which has been just left. You will try to give a new shape to this absent presence.
